Job Description: Icebound Excursions is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Ice Fishing Guide who owns their own Snobear to join our team. As a Fishing Guide, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our clients have a safe and thrilling ice fishing experience. If you’re passionate about ice fishing and have the expertise to lead others, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Lead guided ice fishing excursions for our clients.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Provide instruction and assistance to clients of varying skill levels.
- Drive and maintain your own Snobear for excursions.
- Maintain and organize fishing equipment.
- Share knowledge about local fishing conditions, fish species, and techniques.
- Create an enjoyable and memorable experience for our clients.
Qualifications:
- Must own your own Snobear.
- Proven experience in ice fishing and guiding.
- Knowledge of ice fishing techniques and equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Knowledge of local fishing regulations.
